Midnightkit was deep in thought, padding about the nursery, occasionally stopping by the entrance to glance up at the evening sky. It was a lovely sight to see, really, with the golden and red colors blending all together. She sighed as she heard her sister woke, knowing that this would mean that her quiet thinking time would be interrupted by surprise attacked launched by Ninjakit.

"What an odd dream," yawned Ninjakit as she opened her green eyes and fixed them on her sister, who was grimacing. Something must be wrong; she was obviously worried, so she wouldn't attack her. Ninjakit did enjoy her hyper nature, and attacking warriors and having a quick tussle before they had to hurry away on duty. Sometimes, though, she just got tired of it. She wanted to be quiet and calm, like her sister. She sighed and closed her eyes, falling into a quiet deep sleep once more.

From her spot in the center of the camp, where she ate fresh-kill alone, Lightrain watched Midnightkit, her beautiful daughter kit. She wondered if Ninjakit was still sleeping. Considering no loud noises or crashes were coming from the nursery, she thought she must be. She knew she shouldn't play favorites, but if she had to choose, Midnightkit would be her preference. She was so much sweeter and calmer. She even occassionally helped her mother. That was nothing like Ninjakit, who was so independent, she could be a rogue. Lightrain shuddered at the thought of her lovely daughter leaving the Clan. She would be a fabulous warrior, and perhaps Midnightkit would be a lovely medicine cat. She sighed as she walked towards the nursery, hoping for a nice nap.
